Service

IT solutions get built, not just planned.

The environment has accreted over the years and now slows work down. Or the tool you need doesn't exist, and the vendor's answer is just more licenses. IT Development fixes both: I renovate the environment into a working whole, or build the solution that doesn't exist yet. I don't sell any vendor's products.

Pricing case-by-case. Large projects start with a free PoC.
320-user VPN migration in two weeks
Zero downtime. No drama.
15h vs. IBM's proposed 150h
Same result. Fraction of the cost.
I resell nothing
No commissions, no vendor ties. I recommend what works.

Recognize these situations?

Everyday life IT no longer serves

Systems don't serve the business, they slow it down, and everyone knows it
Some tools live in the cloud, some on a server in the corner, and they don't talk to each other
Off-the-shelf SaaS is too generic or locks you into a vendor, but nothing else has been offered
The company grew but IT didn't: licenses and management don't scale along
The vendor's answer to every problem is a new license or a bigger package
The last IT project ran late and over budget, and nobody wants another big bang

One partner, two situations

The same principle in both: I don't sell any vendor's products, I build what fits your situation. Microsoft when it makes sense, open source when it's better, hybrid when that's right.

01

Environment renovation

Your current environment sorted out as a whole: devices, accounts, communication and file sharing, security, backup, and documentation. I unify a fragmented environment without downtime.

Project pricing case-by-case. Work at €110–130/h + VAT, or a fixed price.

If the starting point is unclear, the IT Health Check gives the renovation its baseline and priorities.

02

Custom software development

When no off-the-shelf solution exists or fits: I build an application, integration, or tool for your processes and your users. Exactly what's needed, nothing more.

Large builds start with a free PoC. Then €110–130/h + VAT.

The code and documentation stay with you. No black boxes, no dependency on me.

Environment renovation in practice

The renovation covers what your environment needs: device and account management, communication and file sharing, reliable connectivity, a security foundation, and documentation. The same need gets solved with different tools in different situations:

Need
Commercial
Open source
File sharing
OneDrive/SharePoint
Nextcloud
Email
Exchange Online + Outlook
Zimbra
Device management
Intune
Linux + Ansible
VPN/remote access
Always On VPN
WireGuard
Identity management
Entra ID
Keycloak
File sharing
Commercial OneDrive/SharePoint
Open source Nextcloud
Email
Commercial Exchange Online + Outlook
Open source Zimbra
Device management
Commercial Intune
Open source Linux + Ansible
VPN/remote access
Commercial Always On VPN
Open source WireGuard
Identity management
Commercial Entra ID
Open source Keycloak

The right solution isn't always the most expensive, or the cheapest. It's the one that fits your situation.

Example: real project

15 hours, when the quote promised 150

In an email relay migration, IBM proposed reconfiguring about ten systems and every multifunction printer: 150 hours of work. I replaced IBM's mail service with a Postfix relay on the same IP address and TLS certificate, so not a single system needed to be touched. Same result, 15 hours. Read the full story.

Differences of this size turn up when an independent builder picks the solution.

Custom software in practice

I build applications and integrations you can't buy off the shelf: for your processes, without unnecessary features. Two examples from real projects:

Example: real project

Operations system for a transport company

I'm building an operational system for a transport company: orders, driver dispatch, work-hour and load logging, and an integration to accounting. No off-the-shelf solution existed for this need. Now work orders and logs live in one place instead of paper slips and scattered spreadsheets.

Example: real project

ERP and ticketing with no new licenses

For another client I built an ERP and ticketing solution using only the M365 licenses they already had. Cost of new software: zero euros.

Sometimes the best tool is the one you already pay for.

Pricing

Every project is priced case-by-case: work is billed at €110–130/h + VAT, or we agree a fixed project price. No blind monthly contracts. This is how the price takes shape:

1

Start with a conversation or a health check

For a renovation, the IT Health Check gives a clear picture of the starting point and priorities. For software development it's enough to tell me what you need: we assess together what it takes.

2

Plan the implementation and get a cost estimate

What gets done, with which tools, in what order. A realistic timeline and cost estimate before you commit to anything.

3

Implement in a controlled way

Testing, rollout, validation. Without downtime and without unnecessary drama.

4

Document and hand over

The code, configuration, and documentation stay with you. You know how to manage the whole going forward. For what comes after, Technical Partner keeps the overall picture under control.

Large projects start with a free PoC. A small working version proves the solution works in your environment, before you commit to months of implementation.

Why me?

I don't represent any vendor and I resell nothing. I build what makes sense for you, whether that's a commercial product, an open-source solution, or a combination of both.

The same person designs and implements. No salesperson making promises and a different consultant trying to keep them: the assessment, the implementation, and the responsibility stay in the same hands.

Why me

Independent

No commissions, no resale. I recommend what works, not what pays me a margin.

Straight-talking

I tell you directly what's worth building and what isn't. No evasion, no technical smokescreen.

Builder

M365 admin in a 500+ user environment, custom applications in production use. I only design what I can also build.

No black boxes

The code, configuration, and documentation stay with you. You know what's in your environment and how it works.

FAQ

What does IT Development cost?

Every project is priced case-by-case: work is billed at €110–130/h + VAT, or we agree a fixed project price. You get a realistic cost estimate before committing, and large projects start with a free PoC.

What if the solution doesn't work out?

For large projects I first build a small working version that proves the solution works in your environment. Only then do we decide whether to continue. The PoC is free: if it shows the planned solution won't carry, you learn that before it gets expensive.

Microsoft or open source?

Whichever fits your situation: Microsoft when it makes sense, open source when it's better, hybrid when that's right. I resell neither, so my recommendation doesn't depend on a commission.

Will we end up dependent on you?

No. The code, configuration, and documentation stay with you, and at the end we walk through how to manage the whole going forward. No black boxes.

Let's talk.
